指环王三部曲终于都看全了,电影中宏伟的气势怎能不让人激动.终于我决心要写一下多年来我一直最钟爱的Nightfall In Middle Earth了.看完指环王三部曲我还是觉得J.R.R.TOLKIEN的<THE SILMARILLION>——指环王的前传才是最让我着迷的作品.也许是我不喜欢好莱坞式的大圆满结局吧.BLIND GUARDIAN,这只被众多网友称为是POSER的乐队.他们创作出的Nightfall In Middle Earth是我看指环王三部曲惟一原因.现在就期待THE SILMARILLION也能拍成电影.BLIND GUARDIAN能为电影献声。现在先来看看Nightfall In Middle Earth中所表现出来的SILMARILLION情节.故事发生在中古世纪。魔王Morgoth和Ungoliant蜘蛛女妖共同摧毁了象征和平的光明之树，并且盗走了尊贵的Silmaril宝钻。中洲大陆从此陷入了黑暗也使得Noldor家族被迫背井离乡踏上了流浪的旅途。Noldor家族的英雄们就是这一篇章的主角,其中有几个重要人,FEANOR,Noldor家族长子.在老国王被魔王Morgoth害死以后毅然决定不需要众神的庇护,带领族人离开家园.之后,因为他发生了同族残杀的惨剧,使Noldor家族又陷入了孤立无援的境地.一个悲剧人物,争议也比较大.但由于他敢违背天意的勇气和果敢而充满血性的性格让我对这个人物充满了敬意.还有Fingolfin的两个儿子Fingon和Turgon他们一个为了救出自己的兄弟独闯虎穴,一个发现了镜面岛而让Noldor家族享受到宝贵的和平,都是有气概有胆量的英雄人物,当然还有他们的父亲Fingolfin,他是FEANOR同父异母的兄弟,在突然袭击的大火战役中战败后Fingolfin国王独自一人前往Morgoth的魔窟，向Morgoth挑战.在决斗壮烈牺牲.还有勇士Beren和Luthien公主可歌可泣的爱情故事.为保护儿子死于非命的女中豪杰Aredhel……数不清的英雄人物,错综复杂的人物/国家关系.使THE SILMARILLION的内容充满了血肉,更具史诗气质.比RHAPSODY等乐队玩耍的一个主人公怎么也打不死的RPG游戏要耐人寻味的多.
再看专辑中的音乐,Blind Guardian在专辑中运用了大量的采样技术和人声对白,试图让专辑中看似没有关系的内容能够紧紧的连接在一起.这是概念化专辑常用的作法.Blind Guardian作为老牌乐队运用起来自然驾轻就熟,丝毫没有生硬的感觉.编排和声是Blind Guardian的长处,整张专辑一直是以对话的方式进行的,这时就需要主唱与和声的配合来突出人物转换和情绪的变化.这时和声就犹如第二个主唱,格外的重要.乐队在这方面的表现绝对能看出下足了工夫.巧妙的连接,慷慨激昂的气势.轻易地就抓住了听者的心.Hansi的表现也尤其的出色.时而低吟时而怒吼,在不停的人物转换当中Hansi显得游刃有余.当然他最大的魅力在于他独特而有艺术气质的嗓音中.Andre的吉它的编排是整张专辑的主线,他融合了欧洲民谣的美妙旋律,朗朗上口.让人过耳难忘.高超的演奏技巧中涌动着澎湃的激情.快时风驰电掣,慢时感情丰富.典型的欧式速度/力量金属作风,当然.乐队独特的气质绝对不会让你听了之后说像某某乐队.这就是我很少听其他速度/力量金属乐队的原因.
这张专辑我听了不知道多少遍了,心中的感慨也绝不止写出来的那么多,很多东西也不是语言所能表达出来的.所以我建议如果你喜欢欧式速度/力量金属的话一定要自己搞一张来听听.最好是再把J.R.R.TOLKIEN的小说<THE SILMARILLION>看一遍.对着歌词听这张Nightfall In Middle Earth,你会享受到好莱坞大片一样的震撼.

在TOLKIEN的世界中,AINUR是世界上最高等级的神,AINUR分为主神和次神.创造光明之树的大地女神Yavanna、指引Turgon发现镜面岛的水神Ulmo、魔王Morgoth等15人属于主神被称为VALAR神，像TOLKIEN后来的一部小说《汤姆·博巴迪历险记》中的主角汤姆·博巴迪和《指环王》中的邪眼索伦、白袍甘道夫只是次神，他们被称为MAIAR神，意为VALAR神的臣民。当VALAR神和MAIAR神来到世界之后建造了VALAR王国和照亮世界南方和北方的VALAR神灯。从此结束了创世纪进入了圣灯纪。好景不长，作为VALAR神之一的魔王Morgoth发动了叛乱，摧毁了VALAR圣灯。于是VALAR神离开了中土，来到了西方的AMAN大陆，就是被精灵称为不死之地的地方。在这里，VALAR圣树，也就是光明之树诞生了。精灵族也在这个时候被VALAR神发现了。他们被命名为ELDAR，就是‘星光人’的意思。随着部分ELDAR向不死之地迁移，揭开了美丽而惨烈的星光纪。星光纪伊始万物苏醒。邪恶也随之悄悄苏醒。魔王Morgoth在权力大战失败后默默的积蓄力量，ELDAR的分支Noldor人蓬勃的发展，他们聪明的王子FEANOR（意为火的灵魂）铸造了SILMARILLION宝石……之后就是Nightfall In Middle Earth中的情节，魔王Morgoth摧毁了象征和平与光明的VALAR圣树，杀死了Noldor国王Finwe，夺走了SILMARILLION宝石并且带着宝石前往中土之地。FEANOR为报夫仇誓死追击Morgoth。为此付出了惨痛的代价此时VALAR神创造了太阳和月亮，太阳纪开始了，人类出现了。为了对抗魔王Morgoth，Noldor与人类结成了不稳固的联盟，正是由于人类的背叛使Noldor人陷入了灭亡的境地。就在Noldor的王国一个接一个的被魔王Morgoth消灭的时候，VALAR神愤怒了，他们发动了突然袭击的大火战役，在这次大战役中虽然魔王Morgoth被彻底消灭，但是Noldor族也受到了沉重的打击。Noldor族几乎灭亡了，只有他们与人类结合的后裔活了下来，他们被称为ATANATARI，就是《指环王》中阿拉贡的祖先。魔王Morgoth遗留下了爪牙索伦、炎魔BALROGS。（就是在大桥上被甘道夫消灭的那个浑身冒火乱甩鞭子的家伙，这斯我极其厌恶，我敬爱的FEANOR就是被它杀死的555555）人类在中土繁衍，矮人由于参加了SILMARILLION战争已经元气大伤。没有参加战争的精灵族继续生活在不死之地。ATANATARI人的后裔NUMENOREANS人势力逐渐壮大，但是他们被索伦迷惑，对世界发动了邪恶的战争。他们摧毁了派罗瑞圣山，没想到圣山崩塌带来的巨大洪水把他们全部卷入到旋涡当中，只有少部分NUMENOREANS人幸免遇难，他们逃到中土建立了举世闻名的冈多和亚尔诺王国。另一方面，由于大洪水，不死之地脱离了大陆，除了纯正的精灵族和后来的魔戒勇士以外任何人都不能踏上此地。这样，终于形成了《指环王三部曲》之前的时候中土与不死之地的世界格局。

第一记的时空进入了由Morgoth笼罩统治的黑暗时代。
贪婪的Ungoliant向Morgoth索要那些掠夺到手的珍宝，Morgoth把左手中的宝石尽数给了Ungoliant作为允诺。
但Ungoliant仍然不满足，他继续要Morgoth把右手的Silmaril宝钻，并威胁如果不给就要用蜘蛛魔网扼死他。

Morgoth发威了，他在Lammoth惊天动地的怒吼震动了整个北方，Ungoliant被这恐怖的吼声吓退，从此销声匿迹。
于是，三颗Silmaril宝钻成为了Morgoth黑暗力量与邪恶权势的象征物镶嵌在了他的王冠上。 4. Nightfall (5:34)
{故事背景}
面对着倒下的光明之树，Yavanna极度悲伤，她宣告大海东岸的黑暗时代已经到来，只有Feanor打造的Silmaril宝钻是众神唯一的希望了。
Morgoth抢走了Silmaril宝钻并杀害了Feanor的父亲，老国王Finwe的谋杀激怒了Noldor家族。
愤怒的Feanor的质疑众神索取Silmaril宝钻的意图，在Feanor的带领下，Noldor家族毅然离开大海东岸。
Feanor义无反顾的行为被Valar神仲裁会视作万恶不赦的背叛，他们向Feanor散步了万劫不复的咒语。
Feanor丝毫没有更改自己的主意，他反问Valar神的仲裁会，“Morgoth是我们Noldor家族的天敌，难道他不也是你们Valar神中的一个吗？”
Feanor发誓复仇，号召所有家族成员誓与Morgoth斗争到底。

Feanor是Noldor王族中最最悲壮又及其富有争议的角色，连那些The Minstrel(吟游歌者)也不知究竟该用怎样的心情述说这样的故事。
或许这位吟游歌者就是在Alqualonde宗族残杀中失踪的Feanor的次子Maglor。

{故事背景}
愤怒与仇恨让Feanor走上了一条永远无法回头的艰难征程，他制造了同宗族的相互残杀，为了达到自己复仇的目的。
Alqualonde城血战使Feanor背上了同室操戈与背叛同族的骂名。
他懊悔着，但他把这些悔恨化为了对Mongoth不共戴天抗争到底的无比坚定的无畏信念。
在向Mongoth发起复仇的星光进攻战中，Feanor中计后因寡不敌众身受重创。
一身是胆的悲壮英雄走到了生命的尽头，他留下了刻骨铭心的深恶毒咒。
Feanor在临终前要求自己的儿子们与同族成员继续反抗Mongoth，并且为他复仇。
The Curse Of Feanor(菲挪的咒语)响彻了整个第一记的浩瀚星宇，也让被咒的Mongoth寝食难安。

{故事背景}
Feanor的咒语注定将给Noldor家族带来更多的不幸与悲痛，哪怕在他死后这种天意难违的厄运仍然继续发生着。
Maedhro再度落入Morgoth设下的圈套，Morgoth把Maedhro作为人质囚禁在Thangorodrim山峰上。
这样一来，Morgoth威胁Noldor家族放弃对他的反抗，否则他将终生监禁Maedhro。

{故事背景}
Feanor死后，Noldor家族四分五裂，Maedhro的被俘更使得Noldor家族面临崩溃。
Fingon冒着生命危险独自去Angband寻找并搭救自己的好友Maedhro。
在历遍千辛万苦后，Fingon找到了生不如死的Maedhro，在Manwe圣帝的帮助下，Fingon救出了自己的好友。
但是，Fingon不得不砍断被Morgoth魔法锢定不得超脱的Maedhro的右臂而逃离Angband魔界。

Turgon在一次偶然的机会中发现了一个神秘而又美丽富饶的内陆岛，他秘密地带领着自己的人民进驻了这块宝地。
Turgon把这个岛屿称为Gondolin，他希冀这个世外桃源能够使Noldor家族跑离黑暗统治中的不可避免的厄运。
在封闭的Gondolin内岛，四周环绕着湖水如同一面面的Mirror Mirror(射镜) 折射着包围着Gondolin平滑光亮的山脉。

Aredhel为Eol诞下一子，取名为Maeglin，他具有着生父黑暗邪恶的本质，但他沉默寡言，一付典型的Noldor血缘长相。

{故事背景}
Maeglin从他父亲那儿学会了很多技巧与本领，在终日不见阳光的密林中成长着。
Maeglin最喜欢跟随着母亲Aredhel来到密林的边缘，在阳光的沐浴中听她讲述那些Noldor家族的英雄故事。
他幻想着能成为象Aredhel兄王Turgon那样顶天立地般的英雄。
Eol不允许Aredhel给自己儿子灌输那些Noldor家族的历史，因此争吵了起来。
终于有一天，Eol外出了，Maeglin在阳光下面对着自己的母亲说出了蕴藏在心中已久的话。
在Aredhel的带领下，母子俩离开了Thorn(荆棘)密布的黑暗丛林，来到了Turgon的世外桃源Gondolin。
Eol愤怒地追到Gondolin，对着欢迎他的Turgon怒斥Noldor家族的罪恶行径。
最后，当他发现自己的妻子和儿子不愿意跟他回去时，他掷出毒标试图杀死Maeglin，但被Aredhel以身体挡住了。

Beren是《The Silmarillion》中最可歌可泣的英雄形象了。
他的父亲因为拯救Finrod国王而得到了荣誉宝戒，在父亲被恶魔Sauron杀害后Beren一度流浪在白拉里安得北方的高原森林地带。
多年的流亡生活练就了Beren坚韧不拔的顽强意志与豪迈广阔的正义气概，他为了抱父仇经常打击Morgoth的黑暗势力而成为后者的一大心腹之患。
当Beren遇到了Luthien，一段第一记最动情最浪漫最悲壮最温馨的爱情故事开始了。
两人的爱情遭到了Thingol国王的强烈反对，他愤怒地把Silmaril宝钻作为条件交换自己的女儿。

{故事背景}
当Beren路过纳高斯朗地时，英明的Finrod国王一起加入了他的行列，他们共同来到Morgoth的魔穴。
在魔堡中，狡猾的Sauron识破了他们的面目并囚禁了他们。
Finrod国王为保护Beren惨遭重创而亡，绝望的Beren唱出了天地间最悲怆的挽歌与他告别。

{故事背景}
Luthien悄悄逃离家园，她决定追随心爱的Beren同生死共患难了。
Luthien的歌声让Beren从失去知己战友的巨大悲痛中醒悟过来，他们俩又重聚了，似乎这个世界上没有任何力量能够阻止他们。
在Luthien的温柔如水的歌声中，许多妖魔鬼怪进入了如痴如醉的梦乡，他们俩到达了Morgoth的巢穴中。
Morgoth也被Luthien美妙如斯的歌声吸引住了，他竟然聚精会神地聆听起这歌声并且浮想连篇。
Luthien挥动着自己闪亮的长幅批衣，伴随着自己的歌声，Beren化作了一只狼，躲藏在了她的批衣下。
Luthien继续唱着，转动着，Morgoth镶嵌着三颗Silmaril宝钻的魔冠居然跌落下来了，但Morgoth并没有在意。
(这是专辑封面惊心动魄的一幕)
Beren随即割下了魔冠上的一颗宝钻并握在了左手，也许Silmaril宝钻的定数吧，就在这时候，Morgoth发现了。
Beren与Luthien在撤离魔堡时遭到了Morgoth手下的疯狂堵杀，Beren身中毒气后与Luthien被大鹏鸟背回他们最初相遇的丛林。
Beren伤重而亡，Luthien伤心欲绝，她呼唤着心上人的名字。
Beren又回来了，他的灵魂一直无法忘怀Luthien的歌声，但他只是一个凡人了。
他们俩的爱情经历最终感动了Thingol国王，他承认并祝福他们能够幸福生活。
好景不长，Luthien因为别人的嫉妒报复而失去生命，她的灵魂附和着独一无二的歌声来到Mandos仲裁众神前。
Mandos被深深感动了，他请求造神的主回复Luthien的生命。
于是，Luthien也以一个凡人的身份回到了大海东岸。
Beren与Luthien经过千辛万苦又团聚了。

{故事背景}
一场罕见的战争在Morgoth的精心策划下又突然打响了.
这场被称作第五次的战役几乎击溃了Noldor家族的所有实力，Fingon的国土沦为一片废墟，Maedhros的联盟彻底崩溃解散。
Turgon的世外桃源失守沦陷，Hurin为了掩护Turgon而被Morgoth活擒。
坚强不屈的Hurin面对Morgoth的种种软硬兼施的言行丝毫没有改变自己的意志，反而嘲笑起Morgoth来。
