introductions about this comeptition follows:

For purpose of helping Chinese students who want to prepare for graduate study in North America to gain a stronger background in the field of economics and finance, DiySmart is going to hold a real time stock/options trading stimulation competition by employing Investopedia’s trading platform, which is the most realistic stimulation system for the Canadian and USA stock markets. Player will have 100,000 USD starting fund; and then player may choose to invest in all major stocks and option markets in North America include: NASDAQ, ASE, TSE. Players will use whatever their have learnt to grow their investment portfolio to achieve the highest rank in this competition.
Registration Period: May 15th 2007 – 15th July 2007

Player Qualification:
[list=1]Must be currently enrolled in a college/University in China. Finance related major is encouraged but not an necessary condition for joining; we only recommend those who are planning to apply for U.S/Canada Finance, Financial Engineering, and Economics graduate programs to join this competition. [*]Investopeida trading platform is English-only interface, so players must be good at English.[/list]

First Place Award $200 USD + a Certifiate of Excellence
Second Place Award $100 USD + a Certifiate of Excellence
Third Place Award $50 USD + a Certifiate of Excellence

嗯...是北美股市...整个比赛过程全程用英文操作...你将面对的也都所有是英文的东西..
所以对英语的要求较高，其中也包含满多的金融方面的英文术语..
这个活动最主要的是针对有意申请出国留学修读经济类，金融类硕士的人开展的
不过也邀请所有对这个模拟股市感兴趣的人士~~~ ^^ 提一提~
报名的截至时间距现在只有最后的15天拉~~也就是7月15号~~
所以有兴趣的同学要抓紧时间咯~~ 是北美股市...整个比赛过程全程用英文操作...
