使用RealNetworks产品构建网络电台-1 (建台篇)

随着宽带网的普及，网上听音乐，看电影已是平常事了，但在网上建一个即时的网络小电台，让你尝尝电台DJ推咪点歌的滋味，则还是很多网友未圆的"梦"。其实搭建网络电台并不是一件难事，只要给点耐心就可以成为一个很专业的NJ哦。 
构建网络实时广播主要有三大产品，RealNetworks，Microsoft media system，Quick Time media
system。其中Quick
Time主要面向高质量和Apple机用户，而另两个之间笔者认为无论从功能、音频质量或支持用户等各个方面RealNetworks都优于Microsoft
media system，但设定相对较为烦琐，下面只是对用Real建台做简单的附图说明。 
 
一、构建网络电台条件： 
系统：Windows NT、Windows 2000(Professional/Server)、Windows XP（本文使用） 
网络环境：公网IP（ADSL或ＤＤＮ专线）或者是Intranet 的虚拟IP(但只能用来做局域网上的广播 ) 
软件：RealSystem Server Plus v8.01－服务器平台软件加RealSystem Producer plus
v8.51－流媒体制作软件（两者缺一不可，以上版本均在本文使用） 
设备：声卡绝不能少，最好两张。Show咪记住还要准备麦克风哦！ 
* 注：笔者在Windows 98下也做过测试，使用RealSystem Server Plus
v7.0运行正常，8.0以上版本则对Windows系列只支持NT构架操做系统。另Solaris、SunOS、BSD、HP-UX、AIX、IRIX 及Linux
等操作系统也可以，但此次不做介绍. 
 
二、安装RealSystem Server 
RealSystem
Server，此软件主要是创建服务器平台及提供流媒体管理的功能，v8.01是目前最新版本，评估和免费版本可在RealNetworks的网站下载
(realnetworks.com)，但在下载之前，必须填一些资料。网址是：

要特别注意的是，在填Email时，可不要写错了，因为要寄一个授权码(License Key)
让你在服务器上使用。（笔者使用的是plus版和500人的license Key。） 
 
安装步骤如下： 
 
1、安装RealSystem Server的过程和一般的软件安装大同小异。特别的地方是安装过程中它会叫你将授权码(License Key)的文件输入。

2、中途还会要求设定RealServer系统管理者(Administrator)的用户名及密码，在此以neo做为username和neoneo为password。

3、在安装过程中，你会发现Real Server会有一些预设的连接口，这些设定都不需要自行更改，使用默认的就可以了。直接点Next，进入下一步。 
 
4、其中一步，"Install RealServer as an NT
Service"此项最好钩选，功能是将RealServer服务添加到Windows启动自行加载的服务当中。

5、在安装的最后，会出现RealServer安装在系统中的各个不同的连接口，点Continue进行安装。

6、安装完成，见到桌面添加了两个新的快捷图标：

7、双击"RealServer 8.0
Administrator"图标启动Administrator的Web-Based的RealServer管理。见到RealServer浏览器
提示输入用户名和密码，将刚才在安装时设定的用户名和密码填入。

8、确定后，进入管理界面，其中Monitor完整界面如下图，其中左上角"Current
RealServer：neososo"中的"neososo"就是笔者的本机标识名：〕

9、下面进行Realserver设定最关键的一步。由于安装时选用了默认设置，大部分设置不用调，只是针对IP绑定要具体情况具体分析。如果是动态IP用户（如ADSL），这里只用点选左边菜单栏的"ConfigureàGeneral
SetupàIP Binding"，跟着在此界面点"Add
New"，可添加一个0.0.0.0的IP地址，作用是指向本机IP；如果是专线或拥有固定IP的用户则需将本机IP添加在这里。

10、跟着点选Apply，并Reatart
Server，稍等10妙钟左右，RealServer的设置就完成了。此时最好重新启动计算机，测试下RealServer是不是可以随Windwos启动服务。 
 
三、制作即时广播 
 
RealSystem Producer，此软件主要用来制作流媒体（Stream）， v8.51是目前最新版本。安装没什么特别，不做阐述，需要注册码。

此软件有多项功能，本文只针对网络电台的设置进行详述，步骤如下： 
1、双击图标，启动 RealProducer 软件，会出现New Session 的窗口，此时，我们选择"LiveBroadcast"后，按OK。

2、因为要录制的是广播，也就是只要声音，在预选项中，已选好了"Capture Audio"，至于Capture Video就不用选了。下一步

3、接着会让你输入关于电台的一些资料。随便填吧，填完下一步。

4、下个窗口则要选择你所制作的媒体流文件所需支持的网络传输速率的种类，有单一(Single-rate)和多重传输速率(Multi-rate)两种，笔者选择
Single-rate for Web Servers。

5、跟着选取目标听众的速率，单一速率只能选一种，多重速率则没有限制。笔者选用28K modem的播放性能。

6、在声音格式(Audio Format)设定部分，也就是当你在线广播时，其播放效果的设定，我们可以使用较高质量选项"Stereo Music"。

7、出现Media Server界面，在Real Server设定部分，要输入刚才RealServer管理界面的"Current RealServer
"即本机标识，（若RealServer跟RealProducer不在同一台机工作，则需填主机IP或是域名，详情在以后的文章再具体分析），在Server
Port部分仍用预设的4040，文件名称(Filename)自定，笔者使用live.rm ，在 username 和password
部分，则填入之前在RealServer所设定的，都是test。在最下方处有一个"Archive Broadcast to
File"可勾选，其目的是将你待会要放的广播声音录下的文件路径，此路径可以自选，但别忘了放在哪儿了。

8、最后一步，就是将你先前的设定再浏览一遍，若没问题，就可按下"完成"。

9、接着会回到 RealProducer的画面，此时，我们就可按下"Start"，用任何播放器放首MP3，就会看到
"AudioLevel"会有绿色、红色高低起伏的音量条显示。

注意：一般声卡的默认设置是在音量控制的录音项里面指定"选择Microphone"，所以第一次运行RealProducer没有音量条显示，请右击屏幕右下角的小喇叭图标，选择"打开音量控制"。（从RealProducer
的"Options"菜单"AudioCapture Settings""volume control"进入也可以）如下图：

点上边的菜单:选项--属性，选录音，下面钩选"立体声混合器（Stereo Mixer）"，确定

跟着，在录音控制窗口钩选"立体声混合器（Stereo Mixer）"下面的"选择"。这样RealProducer里面的音量条就跳动了。

10、至于NJ要把声音传出，只要在音量控制界面把麦克风下静音的钩取消就OK了。

四、检测网络广播是否成功 
 
如何测试RealServer和RealProducer是否已正常运作？我们可以再通过RealPlayer来播放，在打开（open）à地址（Location）处或在浏览器地址栏直接输入rtsp://你的IP/encoder/live.rm或pnm://你的IP/encoder/live.rm
，即可。
