I kept on asking myself this question what is the meaning of life. Why I live in this earth? What for?
Recently I am reading two books Man Made God by Luc Ferry and the Big Questions by Solomon, I was touched by some illumination on the books. So I would like to share my feeling and the contents in the books with the reader you.
First reflect on what is the ‘meaning’ means. For example, we will not ask the meaning of a tree, a chair. Something is meaningful not only because it has function but also the relationship between this object and you. The example is a road sign. If it has meaning, it is not only because it points in some direction, but also because it was intentionally created by people who want to communicate with us and transmit certain information. When it is related to you, it means something to you. Or you can just ignore it and never worry about its meaningful or not.
On the other hand, you also can think about something that is meaningful to you, and compare it with the word life to get the common and different characters. In my mind, helping others is meaningful. So it is easy for me to answer the question what is the meaning of life—just try to help more and more people.
Before I wrote this words, I felt despair about life. I cannot find any reason to live up. I want to give in and do not want to face the real life, the everyday life. But why this problem becomes such an easy one just after two paragraphs? It is really miracle! only death is real～～
